When the Zephaniah Trust was established in 1994, one of our founding principles was that the services we offer should remain broadly free at the point of use to schools, enabling us to take light into dark corners regardless of an ability to pay. The donations of our supporters have seen us through 24 years and counting. We receive no statutory funding.
If you are interested in volunteering with us, at our children’s events or with large admin tasks such as our newsletter mailouts, please contact Jenny in our office for information on our volunteer policy and how to apply. We also take work experience and placement students so get in touch if you would be interested in undertaking a placement with us.
We send out a free newsletter three times a year, updating our supporters on our work and sharing details on upcoming events and fundraising campaigns. If you would like to sign up to receive our newsletter, please contact Jenny in the office.
Over the years, our supporters have undertaken all kinds of fundraising activities for us – sponsored swims and skydives, the Halifax Long March, walking the Thames Path, swishing parties, fashion shows, coffee mornings, second hand sales, the baby food challenge, fundraising evenings and more. If you would like to raise money to support us, we can provide support and promotional materials – contact Jenny in the office for more information. We are registered with Virgin Money Giving, where you can set up a sponsorship or donation page to raise funds for our work.
You can raise money for us at no extra cost to you while you’re using the internet – use our online portal at Everyclick to raise donations while you shop and search the internet. Every little does help!
