Jenny Cousens

Jenny Cousens has a background in textiles and worked at the University of Leeds as a lecturer before joining the Trust as our Administrator. As well as being the organisational whirlwind behind our frontline work and the friendly voice on the end of the phone, Jenny is a talented weaver and textile designer.

Jenny works in the Zephaniah Office every morning, from Monday to Friday, and is your first port of call for finding out more about our work or making a booking. She carries out much of the administrative work that supports our events, including Re:winds and Fast Forward, holiday clubs, and our ZephKidz club. Use our contact page to get in touch with her.

Jenny has many years’ teaching experience at university level and a natural ability with children. She can provide craft and weaving workshops for all ages, including the perenially popular weaving with carrier bags (you have to see it to believe it!). She runs a weekly parent and toddler group at her home church, Shipley Baptist. Her skills extend far beyond the office and she is happy to visit churches and community groups to preach and talk about our work.
