Jenny Cousens

Jenny has her background in textiles and worked as a lecturer at Leeds University before joining the Trust as our administrator. As well as being the organisational whirlwind behind our frontline work and the friendly voice on the end of the phone, Jenny is a skilled weaver and textile designer.

WORKING IN THE OFFICE
Jenny works in the Zephaniah Office every morning from Monday to Friday and is your first port of call for finding out more about our work or making a booking. She carries out much of the administrative work that supports our events, including Re:winds/Fast ForwardsHoliday Clubs and assemblies. You can contact her here. Jenny usually works in the office from Monday to Friday, 9.30am till 1.30pm.

WORKING WITH SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY GROUPS & CHURCHES
Jenny has many years' teaching experience at university level and a natural ability with children. She can provide craft and weaving workshops for all ages, including the perenially popular weaving with carrier bags (you have to see it to believe it!). She runs a weekly parent and toddler group at her home church, Shipley Baptist, where she also occasionally preaches. Her skills extend far beyond the office and she is happy to visit churches and community groups to preach and talk about our work.
